Tiger Woods battles to five over standard on come back from harm

Tiger Woods
Previous world number one Tiger Woods completed five over standard after the first round of the invitational World Challenge on his come back from harm.

The 38-year-old made a poor begin at the occasion in Florida, sending his first tee shot beyond the field of play.

Woods checked three misses and a twofold bogey in his initial nine gaps.

However he steadied his round on the back nine, making a birdie at 12 and completing 11 strokes behind pioneer Jordan Spieth.
