British number one Andy Murray says he can prepare at "100%" again after the back operation he had a year ago.
The 27-year-old had surgery in September 2013 and was out for three prior months returning in December.
"I wasn't equipped to prepare as much at the starting piece of the year due to my back," said the 2013 Wimbledon champion, who will play in the Rogers Cup in Toronto this week.
"Presently I can begin preparing again 100%, not keeping down."
Murray's appearance in Canada is his first excursion since the barrier of his Wimbledon crown was finished at the quarter-last stage in July.

He has been given a bye into the second round and will play either Santiago Giraldo or Nick Kyrgios.
Murray will be utilizing the competition to help enhance his reality positioning, which has dropped to nine, and as arrangement for the US Open, with the last major of the year beginning on 25 August.
"I felt perhaps what I was absent was simply some physical quality," said the Scot.
"When you return on the tour it is a bit of a recuperation process.
"Over the French Open and Wimbledon my back felt great. Physically, it was fine."
Murray said on Sunday he needed previous Wimbledon champion Amelie Mauresmo to remain his mentor for "years to come".
